OK, so Judy sent me the scoop... Apparently, Matt was staying with his Aunt Shirley in the potty training phase & somehow got stuck in the toilet. Too funny!
His mom's version is correct but short. You had to be there, and I was: Matty was staying with us during his training phase. I put his little behind on the big toilet, left the door open, went downstairs to the kitchen and soon heard, "Aunt Shirley, Help!" His teeny bottom had slipped down into the water; he was folded in half. I rescued him. Of course, I had no child seat to prevent such a problem 'cause I hadn't purchased necessities for our first born who was due out in a couple months at that time.
We all survived and are probably better persons for the experience.
Aww. Poor little guy. Well, now we're prepared for it! :) Thanks for sharing the story, I'm surprised I hadn't heard it before. Of course, my memory is a bit dull these days...
Too Funny! I remember bring told parts of the story, but they've blurred,
Ellen seems to get quite a kick out of embellishing it : )
